Protein and Evolution

Just so people don't think I'm talking out my ass (from the comments from the Subway post)... Just do a quick google search... While YOU (bob) may be able to get enough protein in your diet (questionable)with modern farming and a wide range of food. Primitive man's only source was from meat. The brain needs protein and fat. Man needed meat.

One of the best ways to stifle development is to deprive the body what it needs… Mine NEEDS dead animal (or human, I’m not picky).

I find it funny that of all of the posts on this here blog the one about cheesesteaks gets the most response. In response to the non meat eaters how in the world could the post regarding the quality of Subway vs Quiznos cheesesteaks garner an anti meat backlash? Where in fact you have no room commenting due to the fact that you DON"T EAT MEAT. To quote Jimmy Buffet "Don't try to discribe a KISS concert if you've never seen it." This is obivously a discussion you should not be invloved in. I find it fustrating that a piece of this nature could be used at all as a spring board for serious moral debate. If you had posted a piece on the virtues of soy I would not have ragged on and on about how I think soy sucks. I would have just moved quietly by. Why must our personal politics all be interjected at all times. Can't we just live. I guess I'm negating my own point by posting againist retalatory posting. I'm also sure that someone will comment on the musical talent of Jimmy Buffet in an attempt to negate my agrument also. Well thats fine, go nuts, post away. Your most likely sitting at home listing to some "unreleased" Radiohead single you downloaded while reminising about how 120 minutes used to "rock."

Hero,

Meat and Cheesesteaks are a very serious subject matter. Even if the vegitrians disagreed with me, I am glad they read and posted. I was really flattered to be called an ass hole. As a new writter, no such thing as bad publicity.

I will have the Meat vs Veggie debate anyday of the week and I can't wait to address that debate in my next blog. As for all you Broccoli heads, post away.

Hey Hero,

Not to bust on what you said, but I do eat subs, just not ones that contain meat. As I stated, I do enjoy provolone subs and it does matter where they are purchased, meat or no meat.

Just wanted to clarify!!!
