Sorry... but there is no link... the book was FHC. I finished it last night.
After sleeping on it, no spoilers, Harry Potter is very much like a young Bruce Wayne.... only with more reasons to be pissed. I suspect in the next book he will be tearing some people up.
Brandy... Yeah, I know what you mean... how can there only be one book is my question. Once more of the world has read the book, I think we need a discusion here of a couple of possible twists at the end.
Badger... I thought the book was less dark than OotP. The PG-13 might come in with language like "slut" and "whore". Still the ending... wow.
ASK... Bono would be with all the idiots from the Ministry of Magic.
Which brings me to another point... Rowling is pretty cool because she emphasizes individual thought over bureaucracys and group think. Distrust of government is a pretty big theme (though some may think there are some Gitmo references in the book).
I thought Goblet of Fire was darker the OotP. It was the Empire Stikes Back of Harry Potter. First real tragic student death and Voldemort becomes a stronger force then just the half life he had been leading. Also caused Harry to become a bit darker, even though he was still surronded by his entire supporting cast.
SCAGGSVILLE Why Scaggsville? Well... believe it or not, that's where we live. Scaggsville Maryland. It's just too great of a name not to use. For more stuff, be sure to check out Scaggsville.com.

Your link isn't working. I want to know what is fucking hard core!!!
Dude, I hear you. It's so . . . intense. Can you even begin to imagine what the final installment is going to be like?
Can't believe this is a "kids" book. Definitely will be a PG-13 rating when the movie comes out.
Do you think Bono would raise money for Harry Potter, if he were from Africa?--ASK

Anyway... How long till the next book?

Rowling said she will take a few months off before starting the last book. I'd expect a year and a half to two years lag time.
I'm not going to give away any spoilers, but it seems like it would be a pretty big rush-job to deal with all the loose ends that are out there.
I have a feeling we will end up getting more than one book, or the final book will be one of those 2-book sets.
Plus, she's going to keep writing these even after the "final" book - IMO.

Also, what do you say we give it about two weeks before we start putting out spoilers.
I have several speculative theories that I want to hash out on this page.

PLEASE WAIT ON THE SPOILERS!!! I will be reading it on vacation next week.
