The Boss on Politics

Still a tad bummed that the one time I got to see Bruce in concert, in the middle of his set, he started rambling on about how Bush sucks, bah...blah...blah. I mean I still will buy the guy's records, but apparently other's have actually taken "proactive measures" to ensure the Boss sticks to his day job. Some former fans have actually mailed their Bruce records straight back to the Boss.

You should know better. I have stop going to the movies, buying records, watching certain tv shows, these people want to influence a political agenda that is harmful to me as a republican, I will boycott their goods and services. I think you ought to do the same.

I don't have a problem with anyone giving out their political views. I just prefer it to be in a setting where I can reasonably expect such a thing, and I would hope that the person has reasearch and facts to back up their jibber jabber.

A concert is not one of the places I "expect" to get political opinions. I should have a choice as to what I'm paying too see/hear. If that person gets too unpredictable with their performance, I'm out.

Actors/musicians should use their myspace account for political rantings.

I NEED my polical views spoon fed to me. Without the smarts of these rockers how am I going to know what to believe in?
