This is just plain cool
This little program uses Google Maps to allow you to see where you would end up if you dug straight through the earth. From here in Maryland, it looks like we would end up somewhere off the coast of Australia.
Anyway, it's just fun to see where you might end up.

I do believe it may be broke... From Bourbon and Burn I ended up in Antarctica...

I'm pretty consistently getting the Indian Ocean - just off the coast of Australia.
However, when I zoom in to pick a spot, once I click "dig here" the image shifts to Antarctica, wherefrom I have to expand the map to see both red, hole indicators
Great. I'm going to lose the husband to this toy for a month. He just re-surfaced from Google Earth as it is.
Guess that means the t.v. remote and couch are all mine for a while!
