The End of an Era

If nothing else is apparent in the defeat of Lieberman in the Connecticut primary, it's how warped America is when it comes to understanding our enemy. To quote Tony Blair, this is a war of Islamic fundamentalism against Western values. But to the average liberal nutjob, they just don't get this. How can you use diplomacy with people of no country? How can you negotiate with people who have sworn on their lives to see America, Israel, and the West dead?
