Cops are baby killers? Sounds awful, but read the article above. These morons who barely graduate high school in many cases are absolutely drunk on their own power. They wouldn't let a bleeding lady go to the hospital. Also, the videotape is pretty damning (check it out). It's not that they beat this lady up or anything - it's that they lacked the humanity to even listen to her.

I finally took the time to watch the videos. These cops had an attitude from moment one. I think they will have a tough time beating a case against them. The women cop was worse, in my opinion. God I hope I am never pulled over by anybody like them.
I was actually pulled over for speeding one time and I did not have my ID, but I did not get my car searched and in fact the cop sort of laughed at me. I only ended up with a ticket for not having my liscense and did not get a ticket for speeding. I thought that the search seemed unnaturally long, but what do I know??

I don't dislike the police per se. I just don't believe they are the people we should give the vast amount of power that they have.
In fact, my problem with policing (not the police) is more legislative - ie. the laws we pass and the powers we give them to enforce - than it is an issue with individual police abusing their power (Although we have seen that such abuses are common and not isolated)
